Pre-war German 'Reichswehr' Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß). On 24 January 1936 this old pattern EM/NCO’s 'Reichsheer' type belt buckle was officially replaced by the new style Wehrmacht (Heer) buckle, the basic design of the Reichsheer buckle was retained with the addition of the new Wehrmacht style national eagle. This is a nice 2-piece nickle-silver construction box buckle with a pebbled background showing the 'Reichsheer' style national eagle. Nice original buckle in good used condition!
