MG34 or MG42 50 Round Drum Magazine (Gurttrommel 34). The drum was capable of carrying a 50 round ammunition belt and could be mounted on the machinegun. The drum retains most of its original late war blue-grey coloured paint and shows some surface rust and scratches caused by usage. The drum is nicely maker marked and dated 'h.q.u.43' indicating production in 1943. Nice example in good used condition!
