Waffen-SS Belt & Buckle - RZM 36/39 ᛋᛋ
This is a nice aluminum Waffen-SS EM/NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß). This is an aluminum construction box belt buckle. The buckle features a smooth background with a high relief, embossed SS style national eagle surrounded by the script 'Meine Ehre heißt Treue!' (My Honour is Loyalty!). The buckle is nicely marked with 'RZM 36/39 ᛋᛋ' indicating production by the company of 'Overhoff & Cie' from Lüdenscheid. The buckle is in used condition showing traces of usage and some surface pitting, see photos. The buckle comes with its original 110cms long sized leather belt, the belt is in good used condition, some stitching at the buckle-keeper came loose, see photos. Nice original set in used condition!
This set originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture!
Dit is een mooi aluminium Waffen-SS manschappen/onderofficier's koppelslot (Koppelschloß). Dit is een aluminium constructie koppelslot. Het koppelslot toont een gladde achtergrond met in reliëf een SS model adelaar met daar omheen de tekst 'Meine Ehre heißt Treue!' (Mijn eer is trouw). Het koppelslot is mooi gemarkeerd met 'RZM 36/39 ᛋᛋ' wat duid op productie door de firma 'Overhoff & Cie' uit Lüdenscheid. Het koppelslot is in gebruikte staat en toont duidelijke gebruikssporen en wat putjes door oxidatie, zie foto's. Het koppelslot is compleet met zijn 110cm lange leren koppelriem, deze is in gebruikte staat, het stiksel bij het koppelslot-haakje is losgeraakt, zie fotos'. Mooie originele set in gebruikte staat!
Deze set is afkomstig uit de collectie van het onlangs gesloten Eyewitness Museum en was voorheen te zien in het diorama dat wordt getoond in de laaste foto!
