Waffen-SS Belt Buckle - RZM 822/38 ᛋᛋ
This is a nice aluminum Waffen-SS EM/NCO's Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß). This is an aluminum construction box belt buckle. The buckle features a smooth background with a high relief, embossed SS style national eagle surrounded by the script 'Meine Ehre heißt Treue!' (My Honour is Loyalty!). The buckle is nicely marked with 'RZM 822/38 ᛋᛋ' (Type 2) indicating production by the company of 'Richard Sieper & Söhne' from Lüdenscheid. The buckle is in heavily used condition,unfortunately one of the pins of the prongbar has been broken, see photos. Still a nice original example in or a fair price!
This buckle originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture!
Dit is een mooi aluminium Waffen-SS manschappen/onderofficier's koppelslot (Koppelschloß). Dit is een aluminium constructie koppelslot. Het koppelslot toont een gladde achtergrond met in reliëf een SS model adelaar met daar omheen de tekst 'Meine Ehre heißt Treue!' (Mijn eer is trouw). Het koppelslot is mooi gemarkeerd met 'RZM 822/38 ᛋᛋ' (Type 2) wat duidt op productie door de firma 'Richard Sieper & Söhne' uit Lüdenscheid. Het koppelslot is in zwaar gebruikte staat, helaas is één van de pinnetjes van de prongbar afgebroken, zie foto's. Nog steeds een mooi origineel exemplaar voor een nette prijs!
Dit koppelslot is afkomstig uit de collectie van het onlangs gesloten Eyewitness Museum en was voorheen te zien in het diorama dat wordt getoond in de laaste foto!
