Waffen-SS Officer's Leather Belt & Buckle
Waffen-SS Officer's Leather Belt & Buckle (Feldbinde und Feldbindenschloß für SS-Führer). The aluminum type buckle is nicely marked with 'RZM ᛋᛋ OLC 36/38' indicating production by the company of 'Overhoff & Cie' from Lüdenscheid. The reverse of the buckle has a raised circular center piece with crimped edges to hold the buckle catch and crimped retainer for the prong bar and prongs. The buckle comes with an aluminum construction prong bar. The buckle comes together with its 95cms long sized leather belt, complete with one leather belt loop. The buckle shows some oxidation traces, the belt is not matching to the buckle and most likely the belt has been added to the buckle post-war by a collector. Scarce and hard to find original SS officer's belt & buckle in good used condition!
This belt originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and was in display in the diorama in the last picture!
Waffen-SS Officier's Leren Koppel met Slot (Feldbinde und Feldbindenschloß für SS-Führer). Het aluminium type koppelslot is gemarkeerd met 'RZM ᛋᛋ OLC 36/38' wat duidt op productie door de firma 'Overhoff & Cie' uit Lüdenscheid. De achterkant van de gesp heeft een verhoogd cirkelvormig middenstuk met gekromde randen om de gespsluiting vast te houden. De gesp is compleet met een aluminium constructie prong bar. Het koppelslot is compleet met zijn 95cm lange leren riem, compleet met één leren lusje. Het koppelslot vertoont wat oxidatie sporen, de riem matcht niet met het koppelslot en is waarschijnlijk na de oorlog door een verzamelaar toegevoegd aan het slot. Zeldzame en moeilijk te vinden origineel SS Officier's Koppelslot met riem in goede gebruikte staat!
Deze koppel is afkomstig uit de collectie van het onlangs gesloten Eyewitness Museum en was voorheen te zien in het diorama dat wordt getoond in de laaste foto!
