Wehrmacht (Heer) Bread Bag Model 1931 (Brotbeutel 31). Bread bags were widely utilized by all German military and non-military organizations, so various models and colors were produced. The bread bag was worn attached to the belt on the right side of the back. This is an early pre war produced example made of grey coloured canvas, the breadbag is re-inforced with grey lacquered leather parts. The breadbag is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Otto Koberstein' from Landsberg a.W. and dated 1936, it is also showing a 'B36' (Berlin 1936) depot marking. Rare original early breadbag in very good condition!
