Camouflaged Wehrmacht 'Ersatzfeldwagen'
Rare original camouflaged Wehrmacht Heeresfeldwagen (Ersatzfeldwagen 43). During the Second World War the German Army relied quite heavily on horse-drawn transportation to supply its units, the reason being that industry was unable to produce a sufficient number of vehicles. These wagons were used on all fronts, from the early days of the conflict right up to the Battle of Berlin. The wagon is painted in it's original camouflage in tan and green. The grain box is covered with an original piece of shelter quarter. Rifle holders are still present. The wagon is in good moving condition, the carriage is complete with it's original drawbar. This horse-drawn supply wagon has been found two years ago in a barn in the Czechoslovakia where it had been stored since the war. It's currently located in the Netherlands. Nice original untouched wagon, this is an unique opportunity for a museum to make a great display with! Price and more information on request.
