Hard to find out of print reference books "Die Träger des Deutschen Kreuzes in Gold" by 'Horst Scheibert', Part 1 "Das Heer" (The Army). The book features 440 pages and lists all German Cross in Gold recipients in the Army (Heer), there are some nice black&white photographs and illustrations in the back. The must have reference books if you're doing research to German Cross in Gold recipients!
