World War 2 British RAF Observer Parachute Pack & Metalwork. Attaches to the Observer type harness by the engagement of a pair of steel loops with a pair of hooded snap-hooks located on the chest. The label is marked with 'Stores Ref. 15A/156' (pack alone), 'Obserer Parachute, two point connector' and maker marked and dated with 'Jecco 45' indicating production in 1945. The serial number is hard to read. Please note, this is an empty pack without parachute. It is fitted with the original/correct metalwork for attaching to the harness, a full set of bungee cords and ripcord/handle. The pack is currently filled with foam to give it shape. Hard to find original item in good used condition!
