British Airborne Red Beret. Red woolen construction beret with two metal ventilation grommets. Original tie-adjustment string is included. The beret is nicely maker marked by 'Kangol Wear Limited' and dated 1944. The beret is sized '7' marked. The beret is marked with War Department Depot Code 'M' indicating 1944. There are some small moth damages. The beret comes together with a plastic economy type 'Royal Army Service Corps' cap-badge. This beret will be perfect for a Battle of Arnhem display. Nice original 1944 dated beret in good used condition!
