British Drop Container Type C
British Drop Container Type C. The C-type container is specially designed for dropping weapons, transmitters and other equipment for the resistance. The container is complete with metal shock absorber. The original protective discs of horse hair on the inside are still present. The container shows some rust spots and some surface rust, the container was once repainted in the correct green color. Beautiful original container in good condition!
This container originates from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness museum.

Engelse Droppingscontainer Type-C. De C-type container is speciaal ontworpen voor het droppen van onder andere wapens, zenders en andere uitrustingen voor het verzet. De container is compleet met metalen schokdemper. De originele beschermemde schijven van paardenhaar aan de binnenzijde zijn nog aanwezig. De container toont wat roest plekjes en wat vliegroest, de container is ooit overgeschilderd in een correcte kleur groen. Mooie originele container in goede staat!
