British No.2 Mk 5 Flare Gun (No.2 Mk. V Signal Pistol). These Signal Pistols were used by British & Commonwealth Military Forces during the Second World Wars. The pistol is having a steel frame and barrel, the handle is having two bakelite grips which are held in place by a screw head bolt, the grips are in good used condition. The pistol is showing some 'BNP' (Birmingham Nitro Proof) marks and it bears a serial number '141715'. Nice example in good used condition, see photos. This is an original pre-1945 flare gun, exempted by the Dutch law in Article 18, paragraph 1, in d, annex II of the Rwm (Regeling Wapens en Munitie).
