The Canadian Khaki Beret was introduced in 1943. The beret was worn slightly tilted to the left, the insignia had to be worn directly above the left eye. The beret is nicely maker marked by the 'Dorothea Hats Ltd.' from Toronto and dated 1944. The size of the cap is 7.The cap is complete with a 'RCEME' Cap-Badge having a nice blue canvas backingh. The beret is in good used condition. The grouping also includes two photographs of which one was taken in Nijmegen (Holland) at the German Frontier in 1944. There are two field post letters, one written in Holland on 14th February 1945 and one written in Germany on 20th May 1945. The group also includes his Canadian National Registration Identy Card.
