Cased 'Reichsnährstand' Table-Medal (60mm in size). The 'Reichsnährstand' was established in September of 1933 and was responsible for controlling production, marketing, distribution and rationing of the Reich’s food supply. This tabel-medal was awarded for the Reich Examination 1938 for milk and dairy products (Reichsprüfung 1938 - Milch u. Milcherzeugnisse). The medal was awarded for good performance in the competition group 'Frischbutter' (Butter). The 'zinc' based medal shows great detail and still retains most of its bronze finish. The case is in good condition with some normal usage to the corners. A nice and decorative set in very good condition!
