World War 2 British RAF Observer Type Parachute Harness. This is a standard 'Observer' harness for use with clip on chest-type parachute packs. This is a Canadian made version harness with the typical WW2 RCAF 'sliced' non-fully rounded quick release (QR) box. The harness is nicely dated March 1943 on the white webbing straps and complete with a British War Department Broad Arrow marked backpad. Hard to find original harness in very good condition!
