USN M-1926 Life Preserver Belt. These belts would typically have been used by all troops and personell on landing craft such as used during D-Day in 1944 and other river crossing in North-West Europe. The belt is clearly USN marked, the ink markings have been faded. The rubber hoses are slightly damaged, see photos. Nice original example in good used condition!
