WW2 British RAF Flare Gun 'No.4 Mk.I'

World War 2 British Royal Airforce (RAF) No.4 MkI* pattern 1.5 inch (37mm) Signal Pistol, manufactured by the company of 'Webley & Scott'. These were primarily designed for use in RAF aircraft during WWII. It has distinctive locking lugs on the end of the barrel so it could be locked into a firing/locating bracket before being fired from the aircraft. There is some red and green paint, probably from depot/storage, this can easily be removed. Nice example in good functional condition.
