WW2 RAF C Type Flying Helmet, Goggles and Oxygen Mask
World War 2 British RAF C Type Flying Helmet, H Type Mask and MK VIII Flight Goggles Set. The C type helmet comes complete with a set of original receivers and an original wire and plug. The leathe is in good and supple condition. The MK VIII goggles retain most of their original blue paint to the brass frames. The original strap lost a fair amount of its elasticity and has had clamps used to tighten it as is often seen, it displays well. The set is fitted with a WW2 pattern H Type mask with large microphone and original elasticated straps. However being the same type the mask is in my opinion of post-war production, see photos. It is however perfect for display. The set is priced accordingly in my opinion!
Tweede Wereldoorlog Britse RAF C Type Vlieger Cap, H Type Zuurstofmasker en MK VIII Vliegerbril. De C Type vliegercap is compleet met een set originele ontvangers en een originele draad en stekker. De MK VIII-bril bezit nog het grootste deel van hun originele blauw-grijze verf op het messing frame. De originele band heeft behoorlijk wat van zijn elasticiteit verloren en er zijn nietjes gebruikt om hem aan te spannen, zoals vaak het geval is bij deze brillen. Verder is de bril in goede staat. De set is voorzien van een Tweede Wereldoorlog model H Type zuurstofmasker met grote microfoon en originele elastische banden. Ook al is het het correcte type, naar mijn mening is het masker van naoorlogse productie, zie foto's. Het is echter perfect voor display. De set is dienovereenkomstig geprijsd naar mijn mening!
