DAF 'Arbeitsfront' personnel's Armband (Armbinde). The DAF (German Labor-front), originally founded in 1933, became an official NSDAP organization in October 1934. DAF’s most important goal was to enforce the political stability of the large mass of work force. Non-uniformed DAF personnel were issued an identifying armband to be worn on the upper left sleeve when performing DAF duties. The light-blue coloured linnen armband is showing an interwoven BeVo-woven black coloured DAF logo (swastika in cogwheel). The armband shows an ink-stamp from the 'Gau Süd-Hann.-Braunschweig'. Rare original DAF armband in very good condition!
