DJ (Deutsche Jungvolk) Belt & Buckle (Koppel und Koppelschloß). The DJ was the young branch of the Hitler-Jugend, for boys from ten to fourteen years old. The Sigrune was the official emblem of the DJ, it was used on the DJ Box belt buckles from 1933 until 1936 when the HJ buckle began to take over. In 1938 production of the DJ (Sigrune) belt buckle was discontinued altogether. The nickel/silver plated buckle shows a embossed 'Sigrune' in natural brass. The buckle is nicely marked with 'RZM KH 24'. The buckle comes together with its original brown coloured leather belt as found together. Nice set in good used condition!
