Luftwaffe Rz20 'Fallschirm-Ausweis'. When issued the parachutes came accompanied with an inspection certificate (Ausweis/Prüfschein) from the manufacturer. This is an early 'Fallschirm-Ausweis' which has only been used for a short period of time and was replaced by the more common 'Fallschirm-Prüfschein'. This certificate is marked with FL.Nr.30250 which would indicate a silk type parachute, type Rz20. The manufaturer was the company of 'Kurt Peterhänsel'. The unique number of the parachute was '6309230' and the production date was 28 May 1942. This parachute was checked and inspected on 9 June 1942. It should be noted that these early 'Ausweis' types of certificates are very difficult to find. Nice original example in very good condition!
