Waffen-SS Death notice (Sterbebild). A common practice in Europe that continues to this day, is the issue of a remembrance card on the death of a family member. This is a deathnotice for 'Josef Adams' who was a 'SS Sturmmann' and 'Funker' within a SS Panzer Regiment. He was killed in action on 14 April 1944 near Tarnopol (Ukraine).
