This is a nice original World War 1 5-Piece Medal Bar (Ordenspange) consisting of a WW1 Non-Combatant Iron Cross 2nd class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse für Nichtkämpfer), a Baden War Merit Cross (Baden Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1916), a Hamburg 'Hanseatenkreuz', a Hindenburg Cross for non-combatants (Ehrenkreuz für Kriegsteilnehmer) and 2 Hungarian WW1 medals. All five medals are in very good condition. The medals are nicely period mounted on a medal-bar for wear on the 'walking-out' tunic. The medal bar is mounted on a metal-plate with a grey woolen backing and comes with its functional pin/catch set-up. The medal-bar is having a nice tag attached from the juweler 'Ordens-Hocke' from Köln a. Rh. (Cologne). The medal-bar comes in its original 'Treue um Treue' type privately purchased case, the case has regrettably een damaged and broken at the hinge, see photos. It however still displays nicely. A non-combatant medal-bar like this is hardly ever offered for sale. Stunning and scarce original set in very good condition!
