'Deutsches Reich Kennkarte' - Civil Indentification Card. Introduced in July 1938. Every German citizen was issued one, and was expected to show it when asket to by officials. This ID-card belonged to a man from the area of Bremen, it was issued to him on May 25 1943. The oilcloth ID-card is in excellent condition. Nice original example!
