SS/SD Clothing Administration Booklet
SS 'Bestandsbuch für Bekleidung und Ausrüstung' being a Clothing Administration Booklet. The small booklet meassures 15 x 10,5 cms. and would contain the persons information and administration about clothing pieces issued to him. The booklet was issued to SS-Unterstürmführer 'Karl Brand' from the infamous SD Standort 'Lublin' which stood under command of the police chief of Lublin, SS-Gruppenführer Globočnik. Odilo Globočnik was responsible for carrying out 'Aktion Reinhardt' which was the codename of the secretive German plan in World War II to exterminate Polish Jews in the General Government district of German-occupied Poland. As many as two million Jews were sent to concentration camps. The booklet is showing many entries and comes together with a 'Empfangsbescheinigung' which was a receipt that he received a raincoat from the SD Headquarters storage, this document is dated 18 September 1939.
