HJ Signals Overseas Cap
Hilter-Jugend Signals Overseas Cap (Nachrichten-HJ Schiffchen). The HJ Overseas Cap (Sommermütze) was originally introduced in January 1936. On introduction, the cap had both the national eagle and swastika insignia and the HJ diamond attached. This cap is having the yellow cord piping indicating personnel within the 'Nachrichten-HJ' (Signals). The front center of the cap has a machine woven cap-eagle, machine-sewn, positioned above a metal HJ diamond badge. The yellow cotton lining is size '55' marked. The cap is complete with it's original leather sweatband which is named to 'Immo Scholz', behind the sweatband an oilcloth RZM tag has been sewn. It is maker '154' marked which would indicate production by the company of 'Bingel' from Heidelberg. The cap shows normal traces of usage and wear.
