Association of German Engineers 'VDI' (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure) small porcelain dish, marked 'Dresden 1939'. From 1939 'Fritz Todt' was the president of the VDI, until he was killed in February 1942 near Rastenburg when his aircraft crashed shortly after take-off. The porcelain dish is nicely marked by the famous 'Meissen' company. The dish measures approximately 12 x 9 x 2,5 cms. Decorative original item!
