This is a nice original period 'Adolf Hitler' Table Bust (Büste des Reichskanzlers Adolf Hitler). The off-white alabaster type bust is approximately 17cms high and mounted on its original 11cms high black amrble pedestal, the total height is approximately 28cms. On the back the bust is nicely signed by the designer 'Schmidt Hofer'. There are some minor damages and scratches to the albaster material, see photos. The marble base is engraved with 'Kriegsweihnachten 1940, in Dankbarkeit, die 3.E.Komp.'. Nice and decorative rarely seen variant original bust in good condition!
