WH (Heer) EM/NCO's Belt & Buckle
Wehrmacht (Heer) Belt & Buckle (Koppel und Koppelschloß). On 24 January 1936 this new pattern EM/NCO’s belt buckle was officially introduced to replace the previously worn Weimar era Reichsheer buckle. The basic design of the Reichsheer buckle was retained with the addition of the new Wehrmacht style national eagle. This pattern buckle was worn through-out the Third Reich period with minor manufacturing variations and different colored finishes. The colored finish was determined by regulations depending on what form of uniform it was to be worn with. Nice field-grey painted steel construction box buckle, the buckle is not visible marked. The buckle is complete with its original leather tab, maker marked by the company of 'Berg & Nolte A.G.' from Lüdenscheid and dated 1941. The buckle comes together with its original 85cms long sized leather belt as found together, the belt is nicely maker marked and dated 1942. Unfortunately the stitching at the buckle keeper came loose, see photos. Nice original belt & buckle in good used condition!
