WH (Heer) M36 Style 'Panzerjäger' NCO's M41 Field Blouse
Wehrmacht (Heer) M36 style NCO's M41 Field Blouse (Feldbluse M41). The development of the M41 field blouse can be traced back to April 1933 with the introduction of the first pattern field blouses. Modifications of the M33 field blouse had evolved into the M36 Field Blouse and in 1940 into the M40 Field Blouse which was followed by the M41 Field Blouse with minor variations. This is an EM's issue tunic which has been upgraded to an NCO's rank and having a tailored dark-green M36-style wool collar. The high quality wool/rayon blend construction field blouse has 6 front closure buttons and the recognizable four, pleated, front pockets. The field blouse is having a hand applied M36 style flat-wire woven breast-eagle. The collar is having hand-sewn generic type collar-tabs and silver NCO braid nicely machine sewn around the collar. Shoulder-board loops and buttons are present and the tunic comes with a nice matching pair of pink piped shoulder-straps intended for an 'Oberfeldwebel der Panzerjäger'. The insignia might have been replaced once. The interior of the field blouse is partially lined in ribbed grey/tan coloured cotton, there is a small bandage pocket on the lower right which is maker marked. The field blouse is nicely size marked (chest size 98cms) and dated 1941 (H41). An inner-pocket has been period added to the tunic. The tunic is only showing minimal traces of usage however there is some (surface) moth damage, see photos. Nice original NCO's field blouse!
