Cased Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge - Juncker

Description

This is a nice early Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge (Fallschirmschützenabzeichen). The Paratrooper's qualification badge was instituted by 'Hermann Göring' on 5 November 1936 for award to Luftwaffe personnel who had written the required tests and completed six parachute jumps. This badge is a early tombak (Buntmetall) example. The badge is nicely maker marked by the company of 'C.E. Juncker' from Berlin. The badge is showing very nice & pronounced detail overall. The badge has naturally a functional pin & catch construction. The name of the paratrooper has been engraved on the back. The badge comes together with its original matching early type case as found together. The case is in slightly used condition and showing minimal traces of usage and some damage at the corners. Desirable original early cased Paratrooper's Badge in stunning condition!
