Cased Social Welfare Medal 3rd Class (Ehrenzeichen für Deutsche Volkspflege 3. Stufe). On 1 May 1939, Hitler introduced a series of four Social Welfare awards to replace the earlier DRK (Deutsche Rotes Kreuz) awards. This is the third class honour cross or medal. All enamel of the cross is intact and showing only minimal traces of usage, the details on the piece are really pronounced and stunning. The medal comes with its original ribbon in its original red coloured case as found together. The case is nicely maker marked by the manufaturer 'Godet & Co' from Berlin. Stunning original set in very good condition!
