DAF 'Deutsche Arbeitsfront' Desk Ornament showing a Swastika in a Cogwheel. The DAF (German Labor-front), originally founded in 1933, became an official NSDAP organization in October 1934. DAF’s most important goal was to enforce the political stability of the large mass of work force. Heavy quality desk ornament, made of real factory parts. The ornament is sized approximately 13 x 7,5 x 9,5 cms and is having a weight of 1,7kg. The swastika can be taken out. The base plate shows the engraved script 'zum 25 jährigen Jubiläum, Kriegsjahr 1942' (for the 25th anniversary, war year 1942) and a name 'E.Dally'. Decorative original item!
