This is a nice German 2-piece tailor-made Medal Bar (Ordenspange), showing respectively a War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (Kriegsverdienst Kreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwerter) and a Westwall Medal (Deutsches Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen). The war merit cross is attached turned around but was found like this. The medals are nicely period mounted on a medal-bar for wear on the 'walking-out' tunic. The medal bar is mounted on a metal-plate with a green woolen backing and comes with its functional pin/catch set-up, the backing is showing some moth damage. Nice original medal-bar in good used condition!
