Infantry Assault Badge in Silver (Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber). The Infantry Assault Badge in silver was introduced on 20 December 1939 by Generaloberst 'Walther von Brauchitsch', for award to all ranks of non-motorized, Infantry and Mountain Infantry units who participated in three different assaults on three different days. The badge is executed in 'Feinzink' and shows nice details. The badge is not visible maker marked. The pin and catch are complete and functional, this is a so called "pillow crimp" variant. Nice original badge in good condition!
