Infantry Assault Badge in Silver (Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber). The Infantry Assault Badge in silver was introduced on 20 December 1939 by Generaloberst 'Walther von Brauchitsch', for award to all ranks of non-motorized, Infantry and Mountain Infantry units who participated in three different assaults on three different days. The hollow design badge is executed in 'Feinzink' and still retains most of its original silver finish. The badge is maker marked with a small 'H', being an unknown manufacturer. The badge is unfortunately missing its catch. Still a hard to find original badge in good condition!
