This is a nice first model WH (Heer) 'Schützenschnur' (shooting-lanyard) having two Artillery Shells attached being the '3.Stufe' (third grade) and intedend for a member of an artillery unit. This lanyard would look great when re-attached to a tunic or 'Waffenrock'. Nice example in good condition!

WH (Heer) 'Schützenschnur' (shooting-lanyard) '3.Stufe' (third grade). This is the first model lanyard (1936-1939), it is having two aluminum artillery shells attached, stating that it deals with the third grade of this decoration as intended for a member within an artillery unit. The aluminum based insignia is showing a Wehrmacht style eagle. It has a nice fieldgrey wool backing cloth. This lanyard would look great when re-attached to a tunic or 'Waffenrock'.
