WH (Heer) Tropical Belt & Buckle 'N&H 1941'

WH (Heer) Tropical Belt & Buckle (Tropen Koppel mit Koppelschloß). With the impending German entrance into the North African campaign, tropical uniforms and equipment were quickly developed and issued in time for 'Deutsches Afrika Korps', this included canvas web construction belt & buckles. Later during the war these tropical belts were, due to leather shortages, issued in all theatres of battle. Nice olive/green painted steel construction box buckle. The buckle is complete with its original webbing tab. The buckle is nicely maker marked and dated with 'N&H 1941' indicating production by 'Noelle & Hueck' from Lüdenscheid. It comes on its webbing tropical belt as found together. The 92 cms long green coloured webbing belt is faintly marked by a manufacturer from Dresden. Nice and scarce original tropical belt & buckle in good used condition!
