WH (Heer) 5th Grade Shooting Lanyard (Schützenschnur 5.Stufe). This is the second model lanyard as used from 1939. The higher grades of the shooting lanyards had a larger designed type shield attached, this one is having no acorn attached stating that it deals with the 5th grade of this decoration. The aluminum type shield is showing a Wehrmacht style eagle above a shield with crossed swords in an oakleaf wreath. It has a nice woolen backing cloth. This lanyard would look great when re-attached to a tunic or 'Waffenrock'. The lanyard is in very good condition with normal age and usage toning. Rare and hard to find5th grade example!
