British MK1 Airborne (Paratrooper) Helmet. The helmet retains its original paint. The helmet is complete with its original liner and leather chinstraps. The size liner is nicely maker marked 'G&S' indicating production by the company of 'Gimson & Slater' from Nottingham. The liner is dated 1943. The liner is showing the expected traces of usage and age as often seen with these helmets, see photos. Nice original British Airborne helmet in clearly used condition which will be perfect for a Market Garden (Arnhem) display!
