Luftwaffe 'DR 2' Flight Navigation Computer (Dreieckrechner), complete with original instruction manual (Beschreibung und Bedienungsanleitung). The Luftwaffe used two different models of manual flight navigation computers which were basically circular slide rulers to assist in navigation calculations. The flight navigation computer is having a diameter of 15cms and the computer is nicely maker marked by the company 'Dennert & Pape' in Hamburg-Altona and dated December 1939. The rare original instruction manual is marked by the company of 'Dennert & Pape' as well. The manual was published in 1944 and features 64 pages with a lot of nice illustrations and all necessary information to use the navigation computer. These manuals are hardly ever offered for sale. Scarce original set in good condition!
