'Reichsluftschutzbund' (RLB) M30 Gasmask Canister (Blechbüchse M30). The RLB (Reichsluftschutzbund) was an official national organization tasked with all aspects of civil air raid defence. With the potential use of chemical warfare agents RLB personnel were equipped with a wide variety of assorted civilian and military gasmasks. This is military model M30 type gasmask canister, being the early short version which is closed by a clip-system. The canister is maker marked by the company 'Prestag' and dated 1936. A RLB decal is placed on the lid of the canister, I've never seen this before. The gasmask canister is in good used condition. This canister was found at a German fleamarket. Rare original example!
