Cased Wehrmacht Panzer 'Dienstglas' 7x56
Wehrmacht Panzer Binoculars 'Dienstglas' 7x56 (Doppelfernrohr) complete with original simulated leather carrying case (Behälter für Doppelfernrohr). The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service, these larger 7x56 type binoculars were issued to specialized personnel such as panzer observers. The binoculars are in complete condition with undamaged 'Bakelite' eyecups. The Binoculars are nicely maker marked with 'bmj' indicating production by the company of 'Hensoldt' from Wetzlar. The binoculars also bears the inscription: 'Dienstglas 7x56', the unique number '556477'. The binoculars are in good used condition, the optics are clear but a little dusty and complete with reticle (Strichplatte). The binoculars are complete with leather carrying strap and rubber rain-cover, the binoculars are stored inside their original simulated leather carrying case, the case is nicely matching maker marked with 'bmj' and dated 1943 and WaA marked. Nice late war matching panzer binoculars in case. A nice and honest piece of equipment!
