Cased Standard Wehrmacht binoculars 'Dienstglas' 6 x 30 (Behälter mit Doppelfernrohr). The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service. Binoculars are in complete condition with undamaged 'Bakelite' eyecups. The Binoculars are nicely maker marked with 'eso' indicating production by the company of 'G. Rodenstock' from München. The binoculars also bears the inscription: 'Dienstglas 6x30' and the unique number '234391'. The binoculars are in good used condition, the optics are clear and complete with reticle (Strichplatte). The binoculars are complete with leather carrying strap and rubberized lens cover (Regenschutzdeckel für Doppelfernrohr). The binoculars are stored in their original bakelite case. The bakelite is in good condition and there are some markings on the bakelite. The case can be carried on the belt with two leather straps on the back, one of the straps is nicely WaA marked.  A nice and honest piece of equipment which will be perfect for use on a mannequin!
