Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery 'Ffh.39 d' (Festungsfernhörer 39) Headphone (Doppelfernhörer). Marked with 'Ffh.39 d' indicating 'Festungsfernhörer 39 Doppelt'. Normally this type of headset is fitted with a rubber wire and plug that that plugs into the FF33 field phone and desk phone. This example is having a replaced wire and plug, maybe it has been reissued as a Panzer Headphone. It is complete with the rubber ear-cups, these are still in very good and supple condition. The headphones are dated 1942. Rare original 'Festungsfernhörer 39' in very good condition!

These headphones originate from the collection of the recently closed Eyewitness Museum and were in display in the diorama in the last picture!
