This is a nice original large sized Wehrmacht Medical Box with Contents (Sanitätskasten) as used in Wehrmacht Field Hospitals. The box is complete with a large part of its original contents, including some nice and interesting original bandages and various other medical items and/or equipment. Take a look at the photos for more details. The heavy box retains a fair amount of its original field grey paint and is showing stencilled medical red crosses in a white circle. The box is complete with metal tag from the manufacturer 'Stiefenhofer, Sanitätsausrüstungen' from München and dated 1940. The box is complete with original inlay and removable trays. This set would be a great addition to a medical collection or diorama. Decorative original set!
