Luftwaffe 10x80 FLAK Binoculars (Doppelfernrohr D.F. 10x80), these binoculars were used in AA-batteries for direction sighting on the German Flak 36 (88 mm) Gun. The binoculars are nicely maker marked by the company of 'Ernst Leitz GmbH' from Wetzlar. The binoculars were originally painted in the standard ordnance-tan colour, this binoculars however are showing a beige/white (winter camouflage?) overpaint, the paint looks period and is showing nice age-patina. The optics are slightly clouded but can still be used, see photo. Nice and honest piece of equipment for a fair price!
