K98 Combat Bayonet (Seitengewehr 98K). The K98 bayonet was a standard issue item and was accompanied by a bayonet frog to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The K98 bayonet remained the standard issue bayonet through-out the war with minor manufacturing variations. The bayonet and scabberd are both marked with serial-number '7744 C' and maker marked and dated with '44 fnj' indicating production by the company of 'Alexander Coppel GmbH' (Alcoso) from Solingen in 1944. The blade is in very good mint and unissued condition, the bayonet is having bakelite grips. Rare original late war bayonet in mint and unissued condition!
