Wehrmacht metal box for 10 Spare Lenses for the Gas Protection Hood (10 Klarscheiben für Gasschutzhauben) which was a medical gas mask intended for anyone suffering a head wound. The container measures approximately 18,5 x 14 cms, it has stenciled to the lid "10 Klarscheiben für Gasschutzhauben". The metal container is nicely maker marked and 'WaA' marked. Nice example in mint and unissued condition, still wrapped in its original carton factory wrapping!
