Standard larger type Wehrmacht 7x50 Binoculars (Doppelfernrohr). The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service, these larger 7x50 type binoculars were issued to specialized personnel, for example artillery and/or panzer observers. Binoculars are in complete condition with 'Bakelite' eyecups, there is one small crack in one of the eye cups. The Binoculars are nicely maker marked with 'blc' indicating production by the company of 'Maker marked with 'blc' indicating production by company of 'Carl Zeiss' from Jena. The binoculars also bears the inscription: 'Dienstglas 7x50' and the unique number '2104047'. The optics are showing some dirt but having a very clear and sharp view. The binoculars are complete with leather carrying strap and bakelite rain-cover (Regenschutzdeckel für Doppelfernrohr). A nice and honest piece of equipment which will be perfect for use on a mannequin!
